Gene Harris was an American jazz pianist and keyboard player, leader of the Three Sounds, The Gene Harris Quartet, and a member of many other bands. The Three Sounds started as a quartet, Lonnie Walker left when they relocated to Washington D.C. The Three Sounds ended when Gene signed a solo contract.
